Duo Mann & Juula

The friendship of Estonian fiddlers Maria Mänd and Juuli Kõrre started already in kindergarten. However, the girls finally started to play music together when they turned 16, thus was born Duo Mann & Juula. For now they’ve performed a lot and also won the award of the best Estonian Young Folk Group of 2020. Their passion is to play Estonia’s greatest traditional music players’ tunes and help breathe new life into them again. Folk music has also inspired the girls to make their own tunes which show a darker contrast to traditional tunes. Along with playing violin they also sing sometimes.
