Lauri Õunapuu is a folk musician, singer, folklorist and folk culture activist. He has worked on hundreds and hundreds of songbooks, thousands of songs, and their background stories. In this way, he revived several songs that sank into the twilight and found suitable words for many popular folk dance melodies. On Sabatants you will hear well-known dance songs from Tantsuklubi favorite repertoire, enriched with many polkas and waltzes. Jaan has embedded many of those songs to his daily repertoire, accompanies the tunes with garmoshka. Lauri and Jaan have sung together on many anniversaries, fairs and dance evenings. This time, they swirl tireless dancers towards the sunrise on the late hours of the last dance night of the festival.
