Workshop – Breton dances

In this workshop the plan is to focus on three dances from Central Brittany – Rond de Loudeac, Gavotte des Montagnes and Plinn. All three are archaic chain/circle dances that are danced in the circle close next to one another singing along after the lead singer. In this workshop one can learn about older musical and dance thinking that is from the same time as Estonian archaic songs regilaul and one can also see how this music and dance is continuing living in modern times. These who make it to the workshop will find it easier to dance also the other breton dances that will be played in the evening in dance club.
