Regina Mänd is a fiddle player who is fascinated by the authentic solo tradition of past centuries, as well by mixing of different musical genres and author’s creations inspired by newer traditional music.
Her musical roots are firmly in Estonian folk music, covered with layers of study-experience projects from Scandinavia, traditional Transylvanian and Hungarian folk music, a bit of Bulgarian folk music and a touch of Arabic classical music. She is currently studying in the Department of World Music at the Gothenburg Academy of Theater and Music.
