Hanna-Reet discovered the art of singing for dance in Norway where slender guys jumped halling led by soft singing voice, knees flying to the skies and hats swirling along. In Ireland she saw how village singers took on the whole fiddle tune with bare voice and with no instruments! So nothing else to do then – she had to open domestic singing chest and look what’s in it. Lullitamine – lututamine – singing for dance will be heard in this year’s Sabatants by Hanna-Reet. Polkas (why not also polskas), waltzes, labajalgs (inevitably) but also singing games with dancing, couple dances and other fun things. Singing along highly recommendable!
