Seminar – Dances collected from Vana-Võromaa in 1930-s

In this seminar, I will introduce my bachelor’s thesis, which focuses on dance heritage from Vana‑Võromaa collected in the 1930s and preserved in the Estonian Folklore Archives.
The seminar explores how much material is available in the archives, what kind of material it is, and which dances were the most popular in Võromaa during the 1930s.
I will address these questions and present key findings from my research. I also invite everyone who has worked with archival materials, as well as those interested in them, to join the discussion and share their experiences.
